Obama Campaign salutes Romneycare Anniversary
Madeline Rhenisch the first person enrolled in Massachusetts "core health plan under Romneycare". In a current-day interview, Rhenisch says her life improved after she got health coverage and asks plaintively of Romney's call for the repeal of Obamacare, "I think, don't you remember me? Don't you remember my story?... Don't we matter?"

Relying on Congress to craft and pass any legislation that advances progress is a futile and delusional effort. There is no win in this battle. Republicans will continue to publically push you for an agenda, and then publically kill it.
I propose the creation of a National Domestic Energy Coalition. This is not another commission or task force managed by Congress but rather an independent Board representing each faction in the domestic energy issue. Its purpose will be to reflect and put forward the perspectives of those that have a key stake in the problem and to implement solutions. It will become your apparatus to organize and drive change in communities across the country.
