Rev. Wright on PBS
I watched the entire Bill Moyers interview with Rev. Wright, and am going to put it very bluntly the way I see it. Americans of any race or creed have nothing to fear from this man. He is a learned scholar, and one with a very firm grasp of his theology. He may get a bit grating in his sermons, but even hearing them in the slightly longer versions shown on the show, puts them in a very different light. As Golf would say..."context".
The bits that have been played before the airing all referred to the "politician" phrases, and implied that Obama's race speech was just political words. In context, those phrases took on an entirely different meaning. My heart aches for a good and noble man whose career as a minister has been sullied at the end by the political agenda of the msm, and what that agenda has done to the brightest star we have seen on the political horizon.
What did everyone else think?
