Idaho GOP candidate hosts cross burning event

Shaun Winkler, GOP candidate for sheriff in Bonner County Idaho, hosted a cross burning event as part of his campaign. Winkler, a KKK Imperial Wizard, claimed that "we don't just oppose the Jews and the Negroes, we also oppose sexual predators, and drugs of any kind." Whew! For a while there, I thought this might just be an unenlightened hick!

Is there any end to the absolute brazen stupidity in some quarters of our country?
