People are already calling this the best ad ever. There sings Romney while his history plays in front of him. It was genius.
A new low... vicious... cynically exploits Romney's patriotism. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
My question is this: He has had 8 years to resolve these issues and have answers ... if he can't prepare for this how could he respond to a 9/11 event?
Romney a flawed candidate .... indeed.
I am loving these new Obama ads against Romney !! lol-- am I losing it for being too happy?? lol--- here is the Ad from the Obama campaign thumbing their nose at Romney's demand for an apology lol hahaha!
I guess this is one of our agreement upswings. Happy Woody Guthrie's birthday. Eat some, Romney.
Tom Ditto! BTW I do agree that I cringed a little at the Romney booing but I still stand by my thought that he was deliberate in his actions. I hope the Obama team keep it coming lol!!
oh BTW I just feel like saying Romney looks like a Modern day Frankenstein lol IDK where that thought came from but that's what he looks like to me lol-- Stiff and Empty Brain--- sorry I hope I didn't break any rules or polices :) lol just saying lol
Republican Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley, in an interview with ABC News today, called on presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney to release his tax returns in order to show voters that he has "nothing to hide."
Responding to the Alabama governor's comments, Obama campaign spokeswoman Elisabeth Smith said: "We agree with Governor Bentley - Mitt Romney should exhibit total transparency and release his tax returns."
Smith added, "That's the only way the American people will learn about his motivations on critical policy matters and whether he invested in foreign tax havens and offshore accounts to avoid paying U.S. taxes or hedge against the dollar."
Great response from Team Obama.
This is one area where the simple mindedness of journalism will work to, forgive me, a greater good. They love hounding officials to give more. The media, generally, hates "I have released all the law requires." The Obama certificate story stayed alive forever in large measure because he is black, but journalists like this. It's easy to cover and it makes them look like tough, hard hitting something or others. Plus, importantly, asking someone why they won't release documents requires no effort. Nothing to research. Just ask the "tough question."
I am counting on our shallow friends in journalism to keep working Romney on the tax returns.
Pressure is building on Romney from within his own party ...
"There is no whining in politics," chided John Weaver, a veteran Republican strategist. "Stop demanding an apology, release your tax returns." (Source)
~Like I wrote before in another thread... this is going to be an interesting Republican convention.
This is a great ad, especially in this current economy. Simple, lays out facts, and hits him with his own history
