So Glad that I found this site
This may be a little off topic. I am a 45 yr. old Black woman, born and raised as a Democrat. I first became really interested in politics during the first Clinton Presidential campaign. In fact I voted for him twice.
What really surprised me is that while researching Clinton, Obama and Paul, I decided that Ron Paul was the person that I identified with most (A Republican) boy did I have some explaining to do LOL. Then when he dropped out of the campaign, I was more familiar with Clinton, mainly because of Bill, then all of the negative nonsense started and I realized that under no circumstances could I vote for Hillary and I also found that I had become extremely disappointed with Bill's behavior. Basically the Bill Clinton that we are seeing now is not the same Bill Clinton that I voted for.
I am so very glad that I made that decision, Sen. Obama has crossed racial, gender and most importantly Party lines. I am proud of him as a Black American and more importantly as an American. He is an amazing man.
Again, I am so pleased to have found this site.
My best to all & Go Obama 08
