Barry O'Bama
I watched the Bill Maher interview with Tim Kaine the other night and thought it was hilarious. I especially enjoyed the part where they spoke about Barrack's name not being the most optimal for a presidential election.
Kaine said, jokingly, if he had his way, he would have spelled Barracks last name O'Bama. :)
And then yesterday, walking through the streets of Pittsburgh's East End, aka Obama Town, I saw it:
A Obama sign, designed like all the rest, except the name was center-set into a Shamrock, the sign was green, and it read "O'Bama".
Little touch-o-the-Irish never hurt anyone!
Barry O'bama '08!!!!

Heh, nice. Too bad you didn't get a picture of it (although I'm sure something could be Photoshopped up pretty easily).
The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, & wiser people so full of doubts.

Obama's great great great grandfather Falmouth Kearney, was Irish.
Some evidence suggests Obama has Irish roots even farther back (see great-great-great-great-great grandfather John Wilson). But Kearney is the guy who caught the public's eye.
In 1850, Falmouth Kearney left Ireland to escape the potato famine, sailing from Liverpool, England, on the S.S. Marmion, according to Ancestry.com.

Yes, I heard that as well. Which is why I used it. ;)
