Obama Email Warning

I never pass along a virus warning without checking with Snopes.  It seems this one is real, and have varied titles, so be careful with emails containing videos, unless you really trust the source.  As we all want to see and hear all we can about Obama, I thought it would be a good idea to share this warning with my RFO friends.

Thanks Suzi, I forwarded to work and friends/family.
Given the tight ship Obama runs, I'm fairly certain that any video link they mass-email has a corresponding change.gov article. I could be wrong.

You just keep on trying 'til you run out of cake.

The emails are not from the Obama camp.  It seems that they are from legitimate looking news sites, according to the Snopes article.
I'm aware of that, but those who registered email addresses with Obama's campaign get updates and "check out this video" emails from the campaign/transition team. The emails you mention may look different-- I don't know, as I never saw one that was phishing.

Sorry magus, I misunderstood what you wrote.  You make a good point, and we should all be aware of the differences.  I haven't seen one of them either, but I delete a lot of stuff daily.
