....that was the most bizarre spammer yet!!  lol   I hope it didn't inconvenience anyone too much.  I know he got under Hope's skin....and mine.  Thanks for the backup Hope!   Sorry it got so out of hand, but I was away from the computer for a good while.  I think I got it all cleaned up, but if I missed anything, please let me know.

The idiot started a new thread for every post...14 threads to be exact...and each post had well over a hundred links....as Hope said, random, random, random......it made no sense.

The aggravating thing for me is I can go to a list of posts, check off the ones I want to delete, and delete them all at one time.  With new threads, I have to go through them one by one...delete, then get asked if I'm sure I want to delete, click delete again. yadda yadda yadda.

I was cussing that guy for all he was worth by the time I finished....lol

Generated gibberish (or grammatically questionable poetry) with links is the classic hallmark of a spamming script. Might want to put a CAPTCHA on forum article submissions...

That's a good idea.  It's always seemed odd to me that we didn't have that in place.  I'll run it by John after he takes the bar.
