CA Assemblyman Duvall: D'oh!

By magus_melchior - Posted on 09 September 2009

I'll let the article do the talking here. Let's just say that if it can happen to King David, it can happen to any elected official; it's just that David didn't have powered microphones.

Idiot.  Thank God this moron decided to not try fighting the inevitable fallout.

Three cheers for hot mics.

Ah... More false GOP morality. Another jackass Republican -among many- preaching family values to the rest of America while being completely full of s***. Should I care to take a guess that this guy has used religion for his gain too? Maybe talked about his good Christian values?

He hails from Orange County (more precisely, Yorba Linda)... what do you think?

It's sad that we've reached a point where 'government service' is a dirty word... If we're the greatest country on earth, maybe we can have the greatest government.

It hits a little harder in their hypocricy when it's the ones fighting for the 'sanctity of marriage'....

Comment from the link:

Note.... he didn't resign because of his lack of ethics and family values hypocrisy. Says his "comments were inappropriate" but doesn't admit his BEHAVIOR is inappropriate for a family values bible thumping right wing propagandist pol.

Nor did he apologize for being a low class school drop out who got into office based upon being an illiterate homophobic propagandist.

He resigned as he says because he's a "distraction". Apparently he, like the rest caught in their zippers, isn't man enough to resign with class.

I know I shouldn't react this way, but I heard the tape and read some of the other transcripts and I wanted to puke. It made me physically sick to my stomach.

He claims he resigned because he didn't want to be a "distraction," and the only thing he deemed "inappropriate" was his comments, NOT the fact that he was ****ing a lobbyist while in a political position to influence outcomes for them.

 Nauseating.

Nowhere do you see an apology or any sort of admission (other than "inappropriate comments") in his statement-- it's as weaselly as it gets, because he can now deny that the carnal act happened, and claim that he was only shooting the breeze.

Aaaaargh!! I hate it when politicians prove me right in all the wrong ways.
