Peter, Paul & No more Mary

"Leavin' on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again..." RIP Mary Travers - thanks for the wonderful music and your buoyant spirit.

Peter, Paul and Mary performed on April 24, 1971 at a peace march in Washington DC.

Awww.  My mom will be really sad when I tell her this.

I remember growing up listening to Puff (The Magic Dragon) on an actual record player some 25 years ago.

Rest in Peace, Mary and thank you for the beautiful music.

Please, Excuse me, while I cry.  It feels like part of my childhood just died.

Some more awesomeness from Peter, Paul, and Mary.

I think that it is very cool that the very first time I heard these songs, I heard them on my mom's original Vinyl LP's (scratches and dust included).

I loved Peter, Paul, and Mary. I even got to see them live a few years ago.

Heh -- Mary was complaining (in a humorous, not an angry way) about how her son-in-law was a Republican.

She'll be missed.
