Christine O'Donnell - "I dabbled in witchcraft"
"I dabbled in witchcraft." - Christine O'Donnell, 1999, on Bill Maher's show. I understand she canceled all Sundaynew show appearances.

"Eye of Newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of Palin,
Though Dems may work from sun to sun,
a Tea Party Witch's work is never done!"
HYSTERICAL!!! LOL

I don't think Christine O'Donnell is qualified to be a U.S. Senator and I would not vote for her if I was a Delaware voter.
But the reason has nothing to do with the fact that she said she "dabbled in witchcraft."
I knew people in high school who got to into dungeons and dragons or took Black Sabbath and Slayer too seriously and they turned into fine citizens.
I wish the media could focus on issues that matter and not who she dated in high school.
Now the fact that she used campaign money for personal use is a real issue.
You mean important issues like Obama campaigned for a week without wearing an American flag lapel pin... you mean issues like that, right? Or that the Obamas spent an evening at a Broadway play? Or that he is a Muslim... by virtue of having sat for 20 years attending Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ. Or that Howard Dean yelled over a crowd after a primary win, and got branded by the GOP and then national media as "unhinged."
Yeah, they really oughta lay off O'Donnell. They're so biased against conservatives.
I'm more interested on what the candidates views are on taxes, reducing federal spending, Social Security and entitlement reform, monetary policy etc.
I would agree that the media made too much of Howard Dean's screaming and fluff issues like who is wearing a lapel. They didn't cover Obama's past and associates enough, but we've been around that block several times.
Yes, the media is biased against conservatives especially women and Christian conservatives.
Didn't she play Robin in the Batman movies, and now stars on NCIS: Los Angeles?
Oh, wait. Wrong Chris O'Donnell. Holy mistaken identities, Batman!
I'm torn on this one. She has so much baggage, how can the Dem's not go after each issue, one by one? If it were a Democrat the GOP machine would slice and dice her. As Tom points out, they were all over Obama being from the same town as William Ayers as if they were BFF's, imagine if Obama had dabbled in witchcraft! But O'Donnell is the clone of Sarah Palin and she has been schooled well to play the victim and now seems to be following Palin's advice to avoid the media (she even cancelled her appearance on Fox News this morning, even though Palin promised they would be the easy one!) I agree with Brandon that they ought to focus on the more current, important issues and never let up. I think they should stick with:
-financial/campaign money issues
-honestly/trustworthiness/character
-her views on women in the military (apparently she is against it) just to highlight how extreme she is and hopefully turn off women voters
They interviewed some of her supporters and in response to her foreclosing on a home recently one woman said "That makes me feel like she is more like one of us. We've all had troubles with paying our bills, etc." Reminds me of the reaction to Sarah "abstinence ed only" Palin from her supporters when they learned her daughter was pregnant. So they must not allow her any sympathy votes and must make this a real choice between competence and honesty vs. incompetence and dishonesty. They also need to spell out why they should vote for Coons. He needs to have a specific economic plan spelled out, sell it hard, and push her to produce one of her own.
I find it humorous that a woman like this could get the nod from GOP voters in Delaware (are they that insane?) but at the same time I am terrified that someone like this could be a U.S. senator. I don't want this woman taken for granted for one moment. I feel the same way about Paladino. He is 30 points behind Cuomo right now and Cuomo has more money and is very popular. But Paladino was over 30 points behind Lazio before surging to victory so we have to fight as if he could actually win-very, very scary to think about! Thankfully, several Republicans (including former GOP Chairman Pat Barrett) are coming forward to endorse the Democrat, Cuomo. They must be frightened, too. Shame on the GOP for creating the Tea Party (stoking all this fake fear and anger) and helping to put extremists like this on the ballot, while decent moderate candidates are left in the dust.
O'Donnell the idiot, Human hybrid mice and Mr. No-Spin-Zone pretecting her. Well, if she was a liberal he would air everything he had on her.
More O'Donnell
I used to go stay in my boyfriend's dorm room when I visited him at Tulane. Can I claim that I graduated from there, too?
And, don't tell anyone, but I spent the night in the barracks at Fort Hood back in the day. Can I count military experience on my resume? Can I get Veteran's benefits?
