One of the BBC commentators said that Michelle looked like an Egyptian goddess.

Michele looks stunning in that dress... white gown by Tom Ford, an American designer with design headquarters in London.

For all the formality of the state visit, there were signs everywhere of the growing warmth between the Obamas and the queen.

Palace aides described Elizabeth as closely involved in preparations for the visit and happy to have the Obamas come for a two-night sleepover at Buckingham Palace.

So lovely... Mint hued floral frock is the gorgeous work of Barbara Tfank, from the designer's Resort 2011 collection, seen here. A pink cropped swing jacket also by Barbara Tfank and jeweled brooch complete the look.

Well, if all this weren't exciting enough, let's throw William and Kate in the mix.

Grazia UK reports that the Duchess wears the Shola Bandage Dress from high street retailer Reiss. More on the dress, here.

Great pictures!  Thank you, Misty.

Thanks, TG ...

Elegant. stunning. just gorgeous.
