Why I'm No Longer A Republican For Obama

By usminc - Posted on 09 August 2011

I'm sorry I voted for Obama. Obama said he was going to re-negotiate NAFTA and punish companies that outsource. THAT WAS THE MAIN REASON I VOTED FOR HIM! He had a Democrat controlled House and Senate the first two years of his Administration, and yet he did nothing. Even during the 2010 midterms, he said everybody better vote Democrat to stop outsourcing. Then lo and behold on his trip to India, he said outsourcing is good for the US Economy...as though Rush Limbaugh had somehow used long distance ventriloquism to make the words come out of his mouth.

I realized I made a mistake in voting for Obama not long after the election when Joe Biden said "The economy is worse than we thought." What the Hell kind of response is this??? If we wanted incompetence we would have voted for incompetence. In hindsight, McCain/Palin probably couldn't have done any worse.

To be fair, in 2009 Obama did hold an entrepreneurial summit to create jobs...but in Muslim countries.

Michelle Obama is a very compassionate woman, who thought nothing of renting 100 rooms in a $1600/night five star Spanish Hotel so her gynecologist could grieve over the loss of her father. Oh wait, was that because her child wanted to go see Spain? Oh wait, it was because Barry invited Oprah to his Birthday Party and she wanted to get back at him.

Obama is the first President in history to be in charge when America received a downgrade in its credit rating. His response? S and P are a bunch of hacks, and the Tea Party did it. Yeah, had to be Standard and Poor's and the Tea Party. It couldn't be the $14 Trillion in debt and the $61 Trillion in obligations. It's amazing how in three years Obama can't boost the economy because "it's Bush's fault" it's so messed up, yet the Tea Party and S & P have so much power they can make it sink further in one day. Imagine if FDR, who inherited the worst Depression ever and then WW2, had simply thrown up his hands and said "We'll, this is just too hard. It can't be done. Our economy is wrecked, and I'll never beat the Axis. We'll sign a peace treaty with Hitler, and maybe they'll leave us alone." Imagine if Abe Lincoln had said "The Civil War is not winnable. Forget the Union. A little slavery never hurt anybody, anyway." Imagine if George Washington, who lost every battle up until Trenton had said "A nighttime raid involving a boat ride across this half frozen river is impossible. I'll never beat the Hessians anyway. Besides, it's Christmas. The press is always saying I'm a British sympathizer. Nope, I'll just forget the Revolution". I'm sick of Obama and his excuses, and I was sorry I voted for him a long time ago. He is 100% unworthy to be President.

When I first read your post, I couldn't decide whether you'd gone left of Bernie Sanders, or right of the Tea Party...or were getting all of your "information" from fwd. fwd, fwd emails.  I started to pick your post apart, with actual facts, but first took a look at your Facebook page, and I suddenly understood. (Congrats on the membership of one, btw )   The forwarded emails seem to be the winner....with an emphasis on hatred and/or fear where Muslims are concerned.

I see you used your page "description" as your post here.  Allow me to add the rest of your page information for all of our other members.

Mission
When Obama was first elected, we were involved with two un-winnable wars with Muslims. Now we're involved in three. One of Obama's concerns was "mosques were being burned" in Libya. it's funny though how he never gives a rat sass when a Church burns or a Christian cemetery is bulldozed to make room for a mosque. he also mentioned the war with Libya would protect the refineries. In other words, it a war for oil.
Awards
Obama told the head of NASA to reach out to Muslim countries and praise them for their achievements in science throughout history. Yeah, forget all that space stuff.
Products
Obama approved $6 Million to restore mosques in countries like Pakistan and China. Pakistan is chock full of Muslims, and you'd think they could raise the money themselves w/o our help. China has the most vibrant economy on the planet, and ought to be able to restore some mosques as well. Since we're $14 trillion in debt, this means we're borrowing the money from China and giving it back to them to restore their own mosques.

So, IF you are interested in the factual information regarding all of your accusations, I'll be glad to provide them.  But somehow, I don't think anyone who uses NewsMax as a source, and has an obvious hatred of Muslims, will take me up on that.

BTW, I removed the link to your page from your post.  You will not be allowed to use RFO to promote your hate.

Thank you Suzi.

You're welcome, TG.  I don't mind discussing differing viewpoints, and actually enjoy fact finding about fwd fwd emails and sharing the information.  But when so-called opinions are based on hate and/or fear,  it's not worth the time and effort.  Facts are meaningless to this mindset.
