And too bad for Romney. It's not likely to go Republican, but if any of their current crop had a shot at it, it was him.
It bothers me that American car companies ran themselves into the ground and needed the federal government to bail them out, but it would have been too serious a blow to our psyche and our manufacturing capacity if they had gone out of business.
